Dies ist eine Einführung in die Meteorologie für (Geo-)PhysikerInnen im Rahmen des Moduls Ausgewählte Kapitel der Allgemeinen Geophysik im Masterstudiengang Geophysik. Es werden die Entwicklung der irdischen Atmosphäre, der Zustand und die Bedeutung des Wassers in der Atmosphäre, die Strahlungsgesetze und -bilanzierungen sowie kleinräumige und globale dynamische Prozesse in der Atmosphäre unter vorwiegend physikalischen Gesichtspunkten skizziert und diskutiert.
