Comminution is one of the most energy-consuming industrial processes. 2-5% of the total energy
consumption in the world is used in comminution of materials. With GREENY the comminution
process is analyzed experimentally and by using advanced simulation to find out the ruling factors
which can be used for designing the mineral crushing and separation processes more energy efficient,
especially for materials difficult to process e.g. slag.
